From Naples: Amalfi Coast and Pompeii - Full Experience Tour

This is a 9-hour coach day that pairs one Amalfi Coast town with a guided visit to Pompeii. You are collected at a central Naples point and drive about 1.5 hours to Agerola, where there is a 15-minute photo stop above the coast. From there it is roughly 40 minutes to Amalfi, so the coast part of the day is one town and one viewpoint, not a tour of several towns.

In Amalfi you get 2 hours of free time. You can see the cathedral, taste limoncello at a local shop and walk the seafront. An optional boat ride is sold on site during that free time, and it is not in the price. After that, the coach takes about 75 minutes to Pompeii for a 2-hour guided walk through the ruins. The drive back to the Naples drop-off is about 45 minutes.

Entry tickets for Pompeii, the air-conditioned vehicle and the Pompeii guide are included. Lunch is included only in the options that say so. From $90 per person is the regular group without lunch (checked October 2026), a small group without lunch is $108, and the lunch versions are $117 and $135. The coach has a standard group, with the small-group option as an upgrade. Check the option name carefully, because the lunch versions cost more.

It suits first-time visitors who want Pompeii and a sea view in one day and are happy with a single coastal town. Several reviewers found the van tight on hot days, the Pompeii crowds slow in the narrow lanes, and the Amalfi stop rushed, so choose it for the combination, not for coast depth. Sorrento and Positano are not on this route. Free cancellation is available up to 24 hours before the start.

• The Stazione Marittima pickup is for cruise passengers only. The driver waits up to 5 minutes at the meeting point.
• High season (April to October) needs a minimum of 2 people, low season (November to March) a minimum of 4.
