From Naples & Salerno: Amalfi Coast Sorrento, Pompeii Tour

About This Experience
This 8-hour tour covers Positano, Sorrento and Pompeii by van, with the starting point set by the option you book. The group option meets at the Ramada by Wyndham Naples or the Port of Naples, while the private option picks you up and drops you at one of 4 listed places. The group option was not bookable until 6 November 2026 on the dates checked, so look at dates early.
The order is Positano first, about 35 minutes by van from the start, with 1 hour for a self-guided walk and shopping. Then comes about 30 minutes to Sorrento and 80 minutes there for the center, the cathedral and the cloister, and a limoncello tasting. After about 45 minutes you reach Pompeii for 2 hours, then roughly 20 minutes to the drop-off. Sorrento is on the Sorrentine Peninsula, not on the Amalfi Coast, and Amalfi itself is not visited.
From $117 per person (checked October 2026) is the group option at the Ramada or port meeting point. A private tour for up to 6 people runs $310 to $387 per person. Pompeii entry (€20 per adult, free under 18), lunch and parking are covered differently: the vehicle, tolls and parking are included, but the entry ticket and lunch are not.
It suits people who want three different stops, including the ruins, in a single short day. Pompeii has only an audio guide for groups of up to 8 and a licensed guide for 12 or more, so in between you walk on your own. The schedule for group tours is fixed, and the operator is not responsible if you miss a train, flight or ship.

Which places does it visit and for how long?
Positano for 1 hour, Sorrento for 80 minutes and Pompeii for 2 hours, with van rides of about 35, 30, 45 and 20 minutes between stops. Amalfi and Ravello are not visited.

Is Sorrento part of the Amalfi Coast?
No, Sorrento is on the Sorrentine Peninsula. The Amalfi Coast towns on this route are Positano only, so this is a mixed coast, Sorrento and Pompeii day.

The group option meets at the Port of Naples, but the listing gives no all-aboard advice and the schedule is fixed. Tell the operator about any ship, train or flight the same day.
