Naples: Amalfi Coast Small-Group Tour Shore Excursion

About This Experience
This is a 7-hour small-group shore excursion that starts and ends at the cruise terminal. You meet your guide at the Stazione Marittima, Molo Angioino, right outside the terminal where drivers are allowed to wait, with a sign carrying your party’s name. The description assumes you disembark around 9:00 and have the day to the Amalfi Coast and back. The day lasts 7 hours.
The route is flexible. The first suggested stop is Positano, where you are dropped off to explore on your own for around an hour. After that you can choose Sorrento, or continue to Amalfi or Ravello, with the driver advising on which fits your interests. The listing says the coast is about a 1-hour drive from Naples, and you are returned in time for the ship.
From $145 per person (checked October 2026), with groups of up to 12 people in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle. The price covers the driver, local taxes, parking, gas and tolls. Drinks, food, souvenirs and optional tips are extra. The driver is the only guide, with Italian and English spoken. Free cancellation is available up to 24 hours before the start.
It suits cruise passengers who want to decide the route with the driver and do not want a big coach. Reviews are mixed, with 4.4 from 32 reviews. A few felt the minivan was crowded, that the driver said little about the sights, and one group said a suggested stop and a restaurant visit replaced what they wanted. The listing warns against it for anyone prone to carsickness on the winding roads.

What Travelers Say
Rated 4.4/5 by 32 verified GetYourGuide travelers.
Wished it was longer, but our teenage daughter didn’t like the weather so we were grateful it was 7 hours. It’s not close so we spent 2 hrs in car going and 2 hours back. But the drive was beautiful. Glad we went the scenic route. Was able to stop and get some pics and have limoncello due to having to have a bathroom break.

Our guide/driver was Salvatore & he was very informative, great fun as well as an excellent driver. We thoroughly enjoyed our day - he even made a lunch reservation for us all (6 people).

Salvatore (Sal) was wonderful; pointed out many sites and was an amazing driver given the very windy and narrow roads traversed.
